Zope is an open source application server for building content management systems, intranets, portals, and custom applications. Zope along with Plone is the perfect platform for your intranet/extranet server, or document publishing system. We will give you an overview of Zope and Plone. Plus you will learn how to setup and use Zope/Plone to develop and manage an intranet/extranet server.

Unit 3: Groupware

Groupware in all its forms -- from simple messaging and e-mail through common scheduling to sophisticated workflow management -- allows colleagues to work more closely together to find solutions to shared, often critical, problems. You will learn how to setup and use various open source groupware solutions to implement features such as shared calendaring, online forums, wikis, and trouble-ticketing for your organisation.

Unit 4: Clustering/High Availability
